Global Leadership/Membership Team

(AKA MD19 District & Club Support Teams, formerly known as LEMPRR)

LCI GLOBAL LEADERSHIP / MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM:

The LCI Global Leadership/Membership Program was created to help Clubs grow and prosper by developing and participating in established programs that assess a club's health, attract good members, develop members to their highest potential through club, zone, district, multiple district and Lions Clubs International leadership programs.

One of the MD19 District Support Team's goals is to assist each of the District Club Support Teams (Global Leadership/Membership Teams) through this Lions Clubs International Program. The respective Chairpersons are the resource persons who can offer support and guidance on how to get Leadership Membership and Public Relations programs working for you.

Serving on the MD19 GLOBAL LEADERSHIP/MEMBERSHIP TEAM are the following MD19 Chairpersons :

• VCC to be elected at the MD19 Lions Fall Annual Convention in October, 2011
• PCC Allan Hunt, Leadership Chairperson (2009-12)
• PZC Ron Smircich, Faculty Development Chairperson (2009-12)
• PDG John Higgs, Leadership 101 Coordinator (2011-14)
• PZC September Stokes, Special Events Coordinator (2011-14)
• PDG Steve Somerset, Training Chairperson (2010 – 13)
• PCC Jim McCown, Extension Chairperson (2010-13)
• PZC Marco Radunz, Membership Chairperson (2011-14)
• PDG Larry Carley, Membership Assistant (2011-14)
• PDG Melba Fujiura, Public Relations Chairperson (2009-12)
• PZC Gord Graves, Retention (2010-13)

TERM OF OFFICE:

The term of office for each of these chairpersons is three years and they are staggered. Their terms are noted next to their names in the MD19 Roster on pages 9 and 10 and above.
